How much do annuity appointments cost?

What is the short answer?

Published prices for annuity appointments run from about $450 for a confirmed appointment to $1,000 for one the prospect attends, and the price depends on what the vendor bills you for. SeatedX charges a flat $1,000 per seated appointment, and you pay nothing for no-shows or prospects who don't qualify.

A lower price per unit doesn't always mean a lower cost per conversation. The sections below explain the main pricing models, the prices vendors publish, and how to compare them with your own numbers.

Pricing models

What are the main ways annuity prospects are priced?

Each model bills at a different point, so each one leaves a different amount of work and risk with you.

ModelYou pay whenWho calls and booksMain risk to you
Pay-per-leadThe vendor delivers a leadYouUnanswered calls and prospects who don't qualify
RetainerEach month, whatever the resultsDepends on the agreementYou pay even in a month with few meetings

Retainer terms vary widely between agencies. Ask what the fee covers and whether ad spend is billed on top.

Published prices

What do annuity appointment vendors publicly charge?

These are prices the vendors publish on their own websites, checked on October 4, 2026. Prices change, so confirm them with the vendor before you buy.

VendorPublished priceWhat triggers the charge
InsureLeads$125 per exclusive web lead, $300 per live transfer, $450 per confirmed appointment, or $575 if you pay only for kept appointmentsDelivery, a connected call, a confirmed appointment, or a kept appointment

SeatedX$1,000 per seated appointment, the same for CORE, PLUS and PREMIERThe prospect shows up and meets the criteria

We list only prices that vendors publish themselves. Many vendors don't publish prices and quote on a call.

Price per unit

Why does a pay-per-show appointment cost more than a lead?

A lead is contact details. Before you meet anyone, you still have to dial, leave voicemails, qualify, book and send reminders, and some prospects drop out at every step. With a pay-per-show appointment, the vendor does that work and absorbs the cost of the prospects who never turn up. You pay for the result, so the price per unit is higher.

With SeatedX, a setter calls every lead and records the call on video, and you get the recording. Our own software books the appointment and sends the reminders. You pay only when the appointment is seated.

Compare fairly

How do you compare cost across pricing models?

Compare the cost of each qualified conversation, not the price on the invoice.

Cost per qualified conversation = (what you spend + the value of your own prospecting time) ÷ the number of qualified prospects you actually sit down with

Use your own contact rate, show rate and close rate. To see what seated appointments could cost and return at $1,000 each, use the calculator on our how-it-works page.

Before you buy

What should the price include?

  • A clear definition of a show. Know exactly what triggers the charge.
  • Written qualification criteria. SeatedX requires $250K+ in investable or rollover assets, age 55–75, and retired or within about 5 years of retiring.
  • A call before the meeting. Ask who calls the prospect and whether you can see or hear that call.
  • Exclusivity. Check that nobody else gets the same appointment.
  • A written no-show policy. Know whether no-shows are billed, credited or replaced.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does a SeatedX annuity appointment cost?

$1,000 per seated appointment. The price is the same for CORE ($250K–$499K), PLUS ($500K–$999K) and PREMIER ($1M+), and no-shows and prospects who don't qualify cost $0.

Are cheaper annuity leads better value than appointments?

Sometimes. Leads cost less per unit, but you do the calling, qualifying and booking, and you pay for prospects who never answer or never attend. Compare the cost per qualified conversation using your own numbers.

Does the SeatedX price change with the prospect's assets?

No. Every seated appointment costs $1,000, whether the household has $250K or more than $1M in investable or rollover assets.

Do I pay for no-shows with SeatedX?

No. A no-show isn't a seated appointment, so you pay nothing for it. The prospect goes back to our team to re-book.
